Description

Chapter 7 claims that structured tracking converts anecdotes into titration signals. This tracker proves it on Dev's eight weeks: three target symptoms (homework starts, calm mornings, teacher reports) and a side-effect burden line, charted weekly, with every dose step annotated. Hover any week to read the diary note behind the numbers — including week 3's untouched lunch and week 7's flat-at-dinner overshoot.

Decision mode pauses at weeks 3, 5, and 7 and asks you to make the call: hold, step, engineer around a side effect, or step back. The feedback names the data feature that drives each answer — real target response plus a common side effect reads differently than flatness with no target gain. The exercise is about reading data; every real dose decision belongs to the prescriber, and the sim says so.

Lesson Plan

  1. Read (3 min): Hover weeks 0-8 in order, reading the diary aloud.
  2. Decide (5 min): Make all three calls before reading feedback. Compare answers in pairs.
  3. Transfer (4 min): Have each family draft their own three target symptoms — concrete, observable, theirs — for a real tracking sheet.
  4. Boundary (1 min): Repeat the rule: the sheet informs the prescriber; it never replaces them.
